Ways to Help
Financial Help
Hello families!
The Parent Association provides critical financial support that benefits all students in all grades, through funds that the school needs but the DOE does not provide. This year, the PS 889 PA is hoping to raise approximately $250 per student to support things like:
-
school-wide curriculum enrichment
-
grade level clubs like Photography, Cooking, Dance, and Musical Theater
-
field trips for all grades
-
filling our library with books and furniture
-
cultural visits and performances
-
Heritage Month celebrations
-
RESJ programming and trainings
-
and so much more!
We encourage you to give what you can: no gift is too small (or too large!). All donations are welcomed and appreciated, and they're 100% tax deductible. Visit the links below to get started!
If you prefer to donate by cash/check, you can return in a sealed envelope marked PS889 PA Annual Appeal by putting it in your child’s homework folder. Checks should be payable to PS 889 Parent Association.

No matter the contribution, it is valuable and appreciated.
